Marcelo Verdad

Marcelo is a Mexican author and illustrator, and the creator of The Worst Teddy EVER and El PEOR Teddy del mundo. He graduated from ArtCenter College of Design and currently dedicates his time to his students at an art academy in Los Angeles.

Marcelo enjoys exploring stories from different perspectives and playing with textures, shapes and mixed media to create an accessable and playful visual language for the little ones. He adores kids, spending time with them, and visiting schools. He’s very grateful for having the two best jobs in the entire Universe. Marcelo also likes chocolate milk, aliens, and swimming in the ocean.
